The Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayyar will be speaking at Penn State University Behrend College in Erie, PA October 8, kicking off their 2015-2016 Speaker Series.  His talk is scheduled for 7:30 PM at the Junker Center.  Tickets are free and open to the public, but you must reserve a ticket.

The titel of his talk is ‘From New Delhi to Hollyood:  Navigating Life Through Humility” talking about his career and excerpts from his book Yes, My Accent is Real: And Some Other things I Haven’t Told You.

“I think I’m sort of easily excitable like Raj. I get excited over things. And I’m kind of (a jerk) to my friends. Like, I try to make fun of everything around me sort of like Raj does,” Nayyar said in a 2013 interview with The TV Addict. “I really enjoy playing him just because it’s really fun to play a character that is not malicious. He’s a terrible liar and he really loves his friends. So it’s really fun.”

Nayyar spent the summer in 2015 performing in the off-Broadway play by Jesse Eisenberg called The Spoils, where audiences said that Nayyar brought a “lot of depth and sensitivity” to his character and that he was “impressive” in his delivery.

Nayyar also saw the release of Dr. Cabbie in 2015 and has a resume that includes films  Consumed. The Scribbler, …Or Die, and has lent his voice to  Gupta in Ice Age: Continental Drift, Santoosh in A Bollywood Tale, Vijay Patel in Sanjay and Craig series, and has guest starred on The Mindy Project, Sullivan & Son and NCIS, and more.
