io9 is reporting that CBS gave them an exclusive that Lmitless is adding a new character named Piper who will be a recurring role to be played by Georgina Haig. Piper, similar to Brian is naive and sheltered and lost everything. She is now self-trained in many forms of combat and has a mission to stop the man who took everything she lost from her with Brian either her ally or her enemy, which remains to be seen.
Haig is known by JJ Abrams’ sci-fi thriller Fringe fans as Henrietta “Ettas” Bishop, who she played for two seasons on Fox. During Season 4 of Once Upon A Time, she also played Elsa from Frozen.
Haig is ideal in the new role on Limitless in that she is both strong and well-trained physically, as well as familiar with fantasy type roles.
