NBC has green lighted ‘Marry Me‘ and issued an order for five additional episodes of the show. The show had a strong start, even with a late (October) start date. Its premiere brought a 2.3 rating among adults 18-49 and 7.8 million viewers in live-plus-same day returns. However, subsequently, it has dipped in ratings, including DVR, averaging around a 2.0 in demo with about 6.5 Mil viewers.
Marry Me does not have a strong lead-in (following two recently cancelled shows, A to Z and Bad Judge). It does, however, have very positive reviews in the industry. The additional five episodes bring it up to 18 for the season, unless further orders are given to bring it up to the typical full-season of 22 episodes.
