Young sctress Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, best known as Lily on ABC’s ‘Modern Family’ attended the premiere of the film ‘The BoxTrolls’ today which was held in Universal City, California. The event also served to benefit the “Imagination Foundation”. The BoxTrolls is a Laika & Focus Films feature and is rated PG. The film will be in theaters across the nation on September 26, 2014.
The story of The BoxTrolls is based off of Alan Snow’s children’s book entitled ‘Here Be Monsters” and is about a young orphaned boy raised by underground cave-dwelling trash collectors tries to save his friends from an evil exterminator. Ben Kingsley, Jared Harris, Nick Frost, Toni Colette, and many others lend voices to the film (see Cast List below photos).
