The #Emmy4Mayim Campaign put together a great little piece summarizing the Instagram Shennanigans between Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik that took place on the set of The Big Bang Theory, celebrating their first week back to work for Season 8.
While Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons make it clear that they are happy to be back on the set and working together again, we fans also are thrilled to see the cast back at work and these two so excited. We felt it appropriate to share what the #Emmy4Mayim campaign put together.

A few days ago Mayim Bialik sent out an invitation via Facebook and Twitter —“jim parsons and i have now posted 2 pictures together on instagram. he’s ns and i’m . it’s kind of cute to follow the love.”
Fans have followed, increasing missmayim’s followers by over 30,000 since August 7th when Jim Parsons posted the first selfie from the set of The Big Bang Theory. Fans of the Emmy nominated duo have made their recent #majim selfies the most popular on each account. This pattern of favorites began when Missmayim posted from the People’s Choice Awards in January 2014 and is expected to continue as fans clamor for more after each new post.

Even as we write this piece, the video, which was created just moments earlier than this post show that they are at 80K and 40K, but in reality those numbers are growing fast in number of “likes”. On Jim’s site they have gone up to 80.6K and on Mayim’s site up to 40.4K. Fans just cannot get enough of these two! We hope they will continue to share and let us “follow the love” on and off set.
Maybe their next moment to share will be joint wins at the 66th Annual Emmy Awards this year. Fans of The Big Bang Theory and the #Emmy4Mayim team are keeping their fingers crossed that this will be Mayim’s year to walk off stage with a statue in hand. Let’s hope we get some great selfies from that evening with these two!
