Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and her love for her horses is no secret among fans of The Big Bang Theory star, so it was no surprise that she was invited to participate this year at the Longines ProAm Masters Grand Slam. Wearing native American costuming, she mounted her trusty steed, Thor and participated in the difficult course.
The event raises funds for several charitable organizations including the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education, dedicated to transforming U.S. public education through its tuition free public charter school, the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy. The Foundation strives to provide youth in the historical West Las Vegas neighborhood with a quality K-12 education to prepare for excellence in college and beyond. Through state and national advocacy, the Foundation also works to increase investment and accountability in public schools.. Andre was in attendance as one of the Longines Ambassadors of Elegance along with Steffi Graff. Longines also helps raise funds for Children of Tomorrow, an organization that is dedicated to the psychological rebuilding of children affected by war, violence and persecution; JustWorld International which partners with grass-roots organizations around the world to bring education, nutrition, health and hygiene, and leadership and cultural development programs to children in need.
While Kaley did not win the event, just participating in such an illustrious event is an honor and privilege. The Ambassador of Elegance, Jane Richard won the speed challenge, her first win at the event in Los Angeles.
Longines has three legs on the Masters Grand Slam: Hong Kong, Paris & Los Angeles. This was the last leg of the tour.
