Just breaking….

The Tony Awards just tweeted that Mary-Louise Parker and Bruce Willis will be annoucing the 2015 Tony Awards® Nominations on April 28.  Parker is a three-time nominee and past winner of the Tony Awards and Willis is an Emmy and Golden Globe winner who will be debuting on Broaday in Misery.

The awards will be announced via a webcast that will take place at 8:30 AM ET on Tuesday April 28 at TonyAwards.com.

Parker, also an Emmy and Golden Globe winner, receiving her Tony Award in 2001 for her performance in Proof, will star in Heisenberg by Simon Stephens Off Broadway at the Manhattan Theater Club in May.

There will be 24 competitive categories receiving nominations this year for productions that opened during the 2014-2015 Broadway season with an April 23 cut-off date for eligibility.

The 69th Annual Tony Awards will take place on June 7th, presented by The Broadway League and American Theatre Wing and will be broadcast live on CBS from Radio City Music Hall at 8/7c (delayed for PT).

CBS This Morning will air a portion of the nominations live. The NYC cable TV channel NY1 will carry the event in its entirety, as will TonyAwards.com.

Official Cut-Off for 2014-2015 Tony Eligibility

The last day for shows to officially open on Broadway, and still be eligible for 2015 Tony Awards.

Tony Nominees Luncheon

This exclusive event is a chance for the nominees to celebrate each other’s achievements and receive their nomination certificates. At the Paramount Hotel in Times Square. No admission to the public.

Stars in the Alley presented by United Airlines

The stars come out at a free, outdoor concert in Shubert Alley, produced by The Broadway League. Join the fun from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and watch performances from current Broadway shows, accompanied by a live orchestra. More info…

Tony Honors Cocktail Reception

The 69th Annual Tony Awards

On the stage at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.The three-hour ceremony will be broadcast live (ET/PT time delay) on the CBS Television Network from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. ET. The awards will be followed by the invite-only Tony Gala.
