Network Adds More Than 3 Million Viewers to its Nightly Average with L+3 Playback
CBS Also First in Adults 18-49 Playback On the Night
CBS delivered premiere Monday’s largest live + 3-day lift among viewers, adding more than three million viewers to its nightly average, according to Nielsen live + 3-day ratings for Sept. 21.
For the night, CBS added +3.08m (14.37m from 11.29m, +27%), the night’s top lift in viewers. Among key demographics, CBS was tied for the best lifts in both adults 18-49 with a gain of +0.9 (3.3 from 2.4, +38%) and adults 25-54 adding +1.1 (4.5 from 3.4, +32%).
The Big Bang Theory registered the night’s biggest lifts among key demographics, adding +1.7 in adults 18-49 (6.4 from 4.7, +36%), +2.1 in adults 25-54 (8.6 from 6.5, up +32%) while adding +4.29m (22.49m from 18.20m, up +24%).
CBS’s new comedy Life in Pieces added +1.82m, increasing its audience to 13.10m from its live plus same average of 11.28m.
The Network’s other big L+3 gainers included Scorpion, adding +3.10m (14.19m from 11.09m, +28%) and NCIS: LOS ANGELES, gaining +3.03m (11.01m from 7.98m, +38%).
