We don’t think Beyonce has anything to worry about. Benedict Cumberbatch of BBC’s Sherlock and star of the World War II account of a genius, The Imitation Game, was recently on The Graham Norton Show and attempted the Beyonce Walk. Needless to say it was hilarious!
Also guest starring on the show was Miranda Hart who has a comedy act that includes different styles of walking. Miranda demonstrated the Beyonce power walk and then turned to Cumberbatch and asked him to emulate the pop-star singer.
“You have to be very careful, because it’s a sort of one foot in front of the other walk… and if you do it wrong… it looks like you’re scratching an awkward itch,” Miranda said, before summoning Benedict to give it his best shot.
Cumberbatch accepted the challenge set to the Beyonce hit “Crazy in Love.”
Also Cumberbatch was able to get a preview of a wax image of himself while on the show. The wax figure was a remarkable resemblance! We have photos! All images are from BBC America Graham Norton Show.
