The Big Bang Theory co-star Kevin Sussman is expanding his relationship with CBS. The network has put in development Wife Of Crime, a multi-camera comedy project written by Sussman. It hails from Neal Moritz’s Original Film banner and CBS TV Studios, where the company is under an overall deal. Wife Of Crime centers on a straight-laced guy from Staten Island who marries into an Italian family with ties to the mob and finds himself drawn to the warmth of his new crime family. New York native Sussman, who attended the College of Staten Island for a year, is writing and co-executive producing. Original Film’s Moritz and Vivian Cannon exec produce.

Sussman, repped by APA and TGE, has been actively pursuing writing, often partnering with fellow Big Bang recurring player John Ross Bowie. Two years ago, the duo sold another comedy script, The Second Coming Of Rob, to CBS.
