FX has successfully entered into agreements to air CBS comedies including Two and a Half Men and How I Met Your Mother.  Now they have added ‘Mike and Molly‘ to the mix.  FX will be the exclusive provider for off-network episodes of Emmy-award winning Mike and Molly.  According to President of Programming and COO of FX Networks, Chuck Saftler, Mike and Molly will begin to air on September 23, 2014 four nights a week.

Mike and Molly star Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell, a working class couple from Chicago, who had given up on love until they found each other.   Created by Mark Roberts and  executive produced by Chuck Lorre and Al Higgins, Mike and Molly is produced by Bonanza Productions Inc., Chuck Lorre Productions, Inc.,  and Warner Bros. Television.

“Mike & Molly’s endearing characters and consistently funny writing make it a great fit for FX,” said Saftler.  “We look forward to continuing our relationship with Chuck Lorre, and welcoming Al Higgins and the rest of the team to the network.”

Mike and Molly for 2014-2015 is in it’s fifth season, airing on CBS.
