An Act of God, written by David Javerbaum, based on his book and directed by Joe Mantello which will star The Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons, has announced their full creative team. An Act of God will preview on May 2 and open May 28 for a 13 week limited run, ending on August 2.
An Act of God is a 90-minute comedy where the Almighty and His devoted angels answer some of the deepest questions that have plagued mankind since Creation. He’s finally arrived to set the record straight… and He’s not holding back! An Act of God will be playing at Studio 54 on Broadway.
It was announced that the following creative team have climbed the heaven ladder and are on board with the play:
Scenic design – Scott Pask (The Book of Mormon)
Sound Design – Fitz Patton (It’s Only a Play)
Costume design – David Zinn (Fun Home)
Lighting design – Hugh Vanstone (Matilda The Musical)
Projection design – Peter Nigrini (Here Lies Love)
