Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting brings on tears instead of laughter in ‘Burning Bohdi’ Image: on Instagram

 

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting shows us a new side to her skill as an actress in Burning Bohdi.  In the drama, Burning Bohdi Cuoco-Sweeting plays a character that was dumped by her boyfriend, causing her to spiral into a deep depression.   The very first official trailer of the film has been released (see below).

The premise of Burning Bohdi is about a young man, Dylan (Liborion) who upon reading about the death of his best friend, Bohdi from high school on Facebook, reluctantly returns home to New Mexico and is confronted with troublesome parents, his heartbroken first girlfriend, Katy (Cuoco-Sweeting)  and a ton of regrets.

Filmed in New Mexico, Burning Bohdi was written and directed by Matthew McDuffie (The Face of Love; A Cool, Dry Place) and produced by Marshall Bear (CA$H).  Executive Producers are Michael Lazo with Untitled Entertainment, Mary Vernieu for Betty Mae Casting, James Katz for Wyle/Katz and Heather Clark for Honey Bear Presents.   Marj Ergas (Homefront, The Burning Plain; Clerks2 and The Host) line produced.  Cinematography is by David J. Myrick (Feast of Fury, Heaven Strewn, Asthma) and Composer/Music by Ian Hultquist (Memoria, Ivory Tower, Animals, The Diabological, Thought Crimes).
