Bob Newhart, who has recurred on The Big Bang Theory as Professor Proton is going to have another visitation on the series.
Newhart will return as an apparition, again in the form of a Star Wars Jedi to help Sheldon sort out some feelings.
According to Entertainment Weekly, who first reported the return, Sheldon will make an important decision as a result of Proton’s return.
Newhart’s return as a Star Wars Jedi will come just hours before Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens will debut, making the timing of the episode perfect; airing on December 17.
The Big Bang Theory airs on Thursday evenings at 8 PM ET/7 PM CT on CBS.
