The Good Wife‘s Taye Diggs attended the American Ballet Theater Opening Night Fall Gala on October 22, 2014. The black-tie event included other celebrities such as Alec Baldwin, Chris Noth, Lauren Hutton, Olivia Munn and many others.
Held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City, the program included 16 ABT dancers performing selections of classical pas de deux from the season’s full-length ballets which included:
- Onegin (Act III Excerpt): Diana Vishneva, James Whiteside
- Le Corsaire (Pas de Deux): Natalia Osipova, Ivan Vasiliev
- Symphony #9: Polina Semionova, Marcelo Gomes, Herman Cornejo, Simone Messmer, Craig Salstein
- Sylvia (Act I Excerpt): Gillian Murphy
- Pièce d’Occasion (choreography by Marcelo Gomes): Julie Kent, Roberto Bolle
- The Sleeping Beauty (Act III Pas de Deux): Hee Seo, David Hallberg
- Symphony in C: Paloma Herrera, James Whiteside, Veronika Part, Cory Stearns, Xiomara Reyes, Daniil Simkin, Sarah Lane, Jared Matthews
Next May, the American Ballet Theater will be celebrating it’s 75th Year Anniversary at the Opening Gala on May 18, 2015.
