Simon Helberg toured last summer with his film ‘We’ll Never Have Paris’ which closed at the Eidenburgh International Film Festival this past June. The film has been acquired by Orion Releasing which will bring We’ll Never Have Paris to theaters for a limited run, ahead of releasing the film to VOD. Foreign distribution rights had previously been arranged with K5 International who will be distributing to the International Market.
Simon Helberg scripted the film which is based on his true-life romance with his wife, Jocelyn Towne, and the quarter-life crisis that he went through before following her to Paris to try and win her back. The film also stars Helberg who plays a neurotic man who nearly gives away his future all because he believes he should “be free” at his age instead of realizing he had found “the one” for him.
The film also stars Zachary Quinto, Alfred Molina, Jason Ritter, and Maggie Grace (who plays Towne). The filmed premiered at SWSX in Austin, Texas and in New York City, as well is Eidenburg. The film was Executive Produced by Marc Platt, Cassian Elwes, and Judd Rubin, and Produced by Ogden Barnum, Katie Mustard, Helberg, and Towne.
