An Act of God’s Jim Parsons took his final bow on August 2 as the play held its final curtain call and run at Studio 54. But before it left the stage for Heaven, the comedy, written by the David Javerbaum, hit its highest grossing final two weeks at $1,074,778 this week, being one of 13 shows that managed to achieve seven figures this week and one of six to exceed capacity.
Four-time Emmy® winner Parsons was flanked by his archangels played by Christopher Fitzgerald (Michael) and Tim Kazurinsky (Gabriel) with direction coming from Tony® Award winning Joe Mantello.
The team can be proud of their achievement, becoming profitable as of July 12, 2015, an amazing feat in itself. Congratulations to all who worked on the play and kudos for your success!
