Disclaimer: There are NO spoilers about season 9 in this post at all. It’s safe to proceed as long as you saw Season 8’s season finale!
And it began with a bang.
It’s been a long summer. My father passed away in April, so I spent the summer sort of picking myself up off of the ground in many ways. I am reciting Kaddish as much as my schedule allows, and now that the summer is over and I am on a more regular schedule, I will get to go with more regularity.
I spent the summer enjoying my kids, and we even went to Israel for a CBS Watch Magazine shoot with my ex-mother-in-law. The Big Bang Theory LEGO set came out last week (and you can win it here!), so my kids are begging me to buy it for them ,and their dad and I are holding out as long as we can just to show them not everything comes easy just because their mom is a TV star with a LEGO figurine in her likeness.
I did a movie for “Lifetime” co-starring Ryan McPartlin, who is mostly known for being super handsome, but is also really funny and goofy and a terrific actor and person.

And I missed being at work this summer. Because I like my castmates, and we are accustomed to spending a lot of time together. Sure, we get together here and there on hiatus, but we have busy lives, and Kunal (“Raj”) and Jim (“Sheldon”) did plays in New York, and I am grateful for Instagram because I got to follow everyone’s adventures all summer that way.
