2 Broke Girls‘ Beth Behrs has been given a book deal by Weinstein Books to write a lifestyle guide, memoir. Behrs describes her new project will be “down-to-earth, emphatic and often laugh-out-loud” that also will offer a “holistic and practical approach for readers to regain control of their physical and emotional health while reaching for and achieving their most ambitious dreams.”
“My journey to well-being has been a long one, and I’m eager to share what I’ve learned so that my readers won’t have to make the same mistakes I did,” Behrs says. She continued to add that the book will include recipes for healthy meals as well as a somewhat comic approach to exercise for “a fun and manageable ways to center your life.”
Behrs promises health tips and plenty of laughs from her jokes as she relays how she went from being a junk-foody, couch potato with very few role prospects to suddenly winning her role as Caroline Channing on 2 Broke Girls. But as with anyone who eats poorly, her body shut down from avoiding exercise and poor nutrition, leading her to low energy. In her book she reveals how she managed to turn her health around and improve through easy to follow steps toward self-revitalization.
“I want people to know that they don’t have to go to Soul Cycle five times a week to look good and feel great about themselves,” Behrs said. “Big changes start with small steps.”
