Project Angel Food held it’s annual awards gala Saturday night at the Taglyan Cultural Center in Los Angeles, California where Eva Mendes was a special guest, Angel from Hell’s Jane Lynch provided a musical performance, Alanis Morissette and Frances Fisher held special presentations, and the event was hosted by KTLA’s Mary Beth McDade. Sotherby’s Andrea Fiuczynski was the events live auctioneer.
The event honors the past, celebrates the present and builds #thenext25 years of providing nutrition to neighbors struggling with illness. The organization cooks and delivers more than 10,000 meals every week to people who are too sick to shop and cook for themselves. The annual awards gala is also a fundraising event with both a silent and live auction.
Attending the event were a number of celebrities including NCIS‘ Pauley Perrette, Lynch, Transparent‘s Judith Light, Masters of Sex‘s Frances Fisher, Modern Family’s Nathan Lane, The Office‘s Kate Flannery, and Olympian Swimmer Greg Louganis.
