With 23.00 Million Viewers, Thursday’s Broadcast Posts the Comedy’s
Largest L+3 Audience in Nearly Two Years
“Mom” Scores its Largest L+3 Audience Since Last April and
Biggest Adult 18-49 Rating Since March
“Life in Pieces” Has its Largest L+3 Audience and Biggest Adult 18-49 and
Adult 25-54 Ratings Since its Series Premiere
THE BIG BANG THEORY delivered the largest live +3-day audience of any scripted program this season and the comedy’s biggest L+3 audience in nearly two years, according to Nielsen live +3-day ratings for Thursday, Dec. 17.
With L+3, THE BIG BANG THEORY averaged 23.00 million viewers representing an additional +5.77m from 17.23m viewers from its live + same day average. This was THE BIG BANG THEORY’s largest L+ 3-day audience since Jan. 30, 2014.
Among adults 18-49, THE BIG BANG THEORY added +2.3 (6.4 from 4.1), its best delivery since the season premiere, and +2.7 in adults 25-54 (8.7 from 6.0), its best delivery since Feb. 9, 2015.
MOM added +1.43m viewers (10.38m from 8.95m), its largest L+3 audience since April 23; +0.4 in adults 18-49 (2.2 from 1.8), its best delivery since March 12; and +0.6 in adults 25-54 (3.5 from 2.9), its best delivery since April 30.
LIFE IN PIECES added +1.51m viewers (11.78m from 10.27m), +0.6 in adults 18-49 (2.8 from 2.2) and +0.7 in adults 25-54 (4.1 from 3.4), its best in all these measures since its series premiere.
2 BROKE GIRLS added +1.57m viewers (8.49m from 6.92m), its largest L+3 audience of the season.
ELEMENTARY delivered a season best 8.81m, up +2.89m viewers from 5.92m and 2.5 in adults 25-54, up +0.9.
