Miss Mayim could not be any cuter than when Jim pours the bucket over her. Their interaction is adorable. Thank you Jim for being a gentleman and helping pour the water since her hand is still healing! Fans are loving it!

Have you heard of the ALS Challenge? Social Media has come up with a way to help the ALS Association raise funds. Using social media, fundraisers will challenge others to an “ice bucket drench” of cool or ice cold water. The challenge involves people getting doused with buckets of ice water on video, posting that video to social media, then nominating others to do the same, all in an effort to raise ALS awareness. Those who refuse to take the challenge are asked to make a donation to the ALS charity of their choice.
Seton O’Connor, Director of Operations on the Dan Patrick show, has challenged Jim Parsons.
Some fans, myself included, have offered to donate funds if Jim and Mayim both will accept the challenge. Will they accept? Will other The Big Bang Theory Cast accept a challenge? We certainly hope so and we will continue to follow any response from the cast. Stay tuned.

Just what is ALS?
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. Motor neurons reach from the brain to the spinal cord and from the spinal cord to the muscles throughout the body. The progressive degeneration of the motor neurons in ALS eventually leads to their death. When the motor neurons die, the ability of the brain to initiate and control muscle movement is lost. With voluntary muscle action progressively affected, patients in the later stages of the disease may become totally paralyzed.
